I shot a 41lb bobcat in wisconsin this year and I want to know what the coolest mount you have ever seen because I haven't found any of them that I have liked? It seems most of the mounts I see just don't look right?

Are you refering to the pose? Or the workmanship? I prefer relaxed poses myself. wit hclosed mouths? Sitting or laying are my personal favorites? Saw one sitting, licking it's paw, that was pretty cool? The ones that I hate are the crouching tiger, slipping through the woods, open mouth mounts? Just my opinion?

I like lating on a limb, relaxing! Its personal preferance though!
If you plan on mounting it yourself and are not sure about the form. You should freeze the carcus, I have noticed that cats are not proportionate, meaning you will have to alter the form a bit! I had to take 1 inch off the hips and tp of the legs, and make the form 2 inches shorter! Somtimes the suppliers forms have bigger, thicker legs than the cats carcus! Hope this helps! Also skin the cat acording to what would be easiest to mount! Like laying, facing one way, use a dorsel cut on the no-show side! Leaping, trying to catsh a grouse, case might be best!

You may already know this? Tony

Aaron,
I have a Bobcat mount with him reaching way out forward with one paw
snatching a quail out of the air.
This mount has had a lot of positive remarks.
I also had one done three years ago with him stalking down a hill
a rocks.
I like this mount as well, but not near as much as the quail mount.
