How wet is the skin?
It may just be the hide has not been taxied into place. Plus remember the skin will shrink up some.
Now how is the jaw tufts? do you have enough skin to pull those into place nicly.
Are the ears in proper place according to you reference photos?
One more thing does the form have the proper head shape?
You may need to order a smaller head.
John: I have enough skin for the lips and the ears are slitly on the edge.
Can i pour some foam around the form and shape it in?.
Thanks Kim.
You can slit the head and place a wedge in it, then finish foaming for the width.
Or try adding foam, as you mention.
Do you have the Rayline catalog? there is a great section in it about altering form sizes.
I'll try to spilt the form and wedge it to size. That sounds easier than foaming it and carving it out.
I neaver herd of the Rayline catalog before, where are they located?
I'll do a search for one. Thanks .
I tried something diff. i built up the area with some potters clay,
around the eyes and nose.I set the eyes and ears and looks ok.
Now to let dry and try the hide to shape.
Thanks Kim
