I am working on a open mouth coyote rug. Can someone tell me what to fill the area between the gums and lips. What type of paint do I use for the lips nose and eyelids. Also I will bee mounting it on felt. Should I use a backer between the skin and felt and lastly do I sew or glue the hide to the felt. Thanks for any help

Apoxie Sculpt for all my open mouths. Use whatever paint you have available but with oil paints you can wash it in better. I don't use a backer because I'm not sure if it would make a difference with the long hair of a coyote. I also hot glue my felt down and never had a problem with bear or coyote. I run lines all over it a little section at a time.
