tails

Besides raccoon do you have to split tails on squirrels,fox,coyote.Can you just salt them than tan.Also if you do split them I heare people filling them with caulk to get fullness wouldn't the caulk seep out were you sewed it up.Any info on this would help.Thanks Nick

getting tail

Here what I split, fox, coon, possum,coyotes, deer, bear but not tree rats. No need on them. Now you can inject the squirrel tail with caulk when you mount it or caulk the artificial tail and then insert it. As for the rest I make up my own tail by wrapping them and then paint on the caulk and sew up the tails. If done right you may get a spot or two oozing out.
