am doing my first grey fox (mine) shoulder mount -

1) can i pull the skin over head or do i need a relief cut ala does

2) is it better to use bondo ears as opposed to liners

Terry, Yes, the skin can be pulled over the head and, on mine, I used bondo. It worked great. PatrickR

Actually, it was Apoxie Sculpt that I used, not Bondo...Bondo will work, but not as well/easy/clean. PatrickR


NO BONDO FOR CANINES

hair slippage of canine ears are a big problem even on skins that are handled exactly right , dont take the chance , heat generated from the chemical reaction in bondo makes for an iffy situation at best , use a high quality putty such as apoxie sculpt, but never use bondo on canine ears , hope this explains why no bondo for you , ed
