Lets see...... I've been trying to think of a way to help you out with this question. Hows this sound, My engine in my car died, the repair manuals I BOUGHT dont really explain much on how to replace it. Can anyone tell me where I can get the information for FREE. If I had insirations of becoming a mechanic, I'd BUY all the info I could, get a job working on cars, and possibly even go to school to lean. Even then , nothing teaches you any better than hands on experience. The same goes with taxidermy. There nothing wrong with wanting to get FREE info on taxidermy. But dont expect to be able to do a fatastic job with just this info. Put your time and MONEY in and buy some of the great books and videos that are available. THEN, practice, practice, practice, only that will get you better. I guess what kinda ticked me off in your question, was the emphasis on FREE. You see, I started taxidermy over 30 yrs ago. At that time there were only a couple of books available"and I BOUGHT them"and your local taxidermist wouldn't even let you in his front door. So I went to school....the school of hard knocks. I worked on anything I could get my hands on. I turned out to be a pretty fair taxidermist. Then the state assocations started. I joined them and my work improved tremendously.I guess what I'm trying to say in this drawn out post is , dont expect much for FREE. Put your time in and work on everything you can get your hands on. You'll be suprised. A lot of the question you have , you'll be able to answer yourself.
