how to kill it

Submitted by James on 01/27/2003. ( redneckreverand15@yahoo.com ) 12.207.17.54

ok. I got this idea from a website (amy's) to practice tanning and such on rats. She said to snap they necks, and I got this suggestion from someone to put the rat in a jar cut a whole in the lid, put a tub in it and connect that tube to the tail pipe on my car and poison it with carbon monoxide. Is there enough in there to matter and will it work. Also where do i buy rodent mounts. And I know this is an odd ? but does n e one no how much rats cost at a pet shop, i aint never bot a rat b4

Leave the tail pipe and the carbon monoxide alone.

I always felt drowning was most humane, plus theres no damage. That would be my choice.

Yes, Pet Shops...

Most shops already have FROZEN ones on hand, just ASK! ;-)

If they are presently out of stock, they will likely "keep you in mind" if you let your interest be known...

Forget Carbon Manoxide

In my early foolish days...tried it...was sick for three days...guess I was supposed to gas the cat?

DROWN 'em...simple and easy...no mess.

A large Raccoon got into my place one...bought a live trap...caught him...filled the bathtub with water...brought in the trap with coon and said..."You want to see the inside of my place?...Okay...here it is...last thing you'll ever see my furry marauder"....submerged.

But...not a pretty sight to watch an animal drowning. I know that experience...almost drowned in a river once...never forget it.

I want some dihydrogen monoxide too! All I can find is Coke Classic.

Dude, you're just TOO STUPID. I'm sorry. No rats for you.

Has anyone seen the "evaporated water for sale" page? It's hilarious.

ETCC, about 15 years ago I had the EXACT SAME experience with a raccoon. Lifted up that livetrap with the 'coon which weighed half as much as I did, into our bathtub, then ran him a warm bath. I was afraid of diseases so I added some Lysol to the water (to kill fleas?). Watching the poor thing drown was just horrible. I will never forget the tiny amount of foamy blood coming from his nostrils, the scene of death in an otherwise beautiful bathroom on an otherwise beautiful day. It made me so sad. I never drowned another creature, takes far too long and it's just too traumatic (on me and on the creature).
