I just had a question on the mouth of a squirrel. i tried to mount the head on my squirrel, but where his teeth would have been left a gap showing the mannikin underneath. i did not know if i did something wrong or not.I know there was no possible way to pull the top skin down. then the skin would not have been on the mannikin properly. So if you are doing a mount with the mouth closed, how do you eliminate that space?

I usually clip the teeth out of the squirrel, make a small indent int he form at that point and insert the teeth with a little super glue jell. That way it looks natural. Try not to make it look buck-toother, though.
