This is a new one on me!
I see that McKenzie carries a rug shell for them(it's
actually even the right size), but how do you deal with
the hind feet on this thing?
Anybody ever do one?

Beaver are way too small to make a rug that lays on the floor. If I where to do one like this, it would be a wall hanger and I would skin the beaver the same way as I do all of my beaver for market and that is just cut the feet off before you skin. I think it would kinda look a little stupid by leaving the feet attached.
first of all i have a wonderful beaver rug in my room, it is very big. My lab can curl up on it and there is still some area left, and she ways about a 135lbs. so it is big. Anyway, if i were to do a rug, would anyone advise that i use a fabric underneath, to cover up the tanned are or just leave it open?
any help would be appreciated!
