I am trying to take the bones and claws from bear paws. I have skinned and salted the meat/bone/claw parts. How can I get the bones and claws free from the meat/cartilage? Can I boil the bones/claws or is the a better way? Will the boiling ruin the claws? Thanks in advance for your help!

Look up 'maceration' in the archives. Boiling is bad bad bad - and is especially brutal on claws.
Get some demitrds Beatles and they will take of the meat and cartalage for you, but they do stink.
