Foot skinning on coyotes and cougars

Submitted by Terry on 02/14/2003. ( ) 65.57.46.210

I know its hard to explain in writing but would appreciate if someone would give it a try. Please describe how to skin out a foot on a coyote and a cougar. I'm doing my first lifesize mounts and need help. Any special cuts (relief) etc? Also, do you split the tail on the cougar? And any special notes on the claws?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Canines have to be split down the side.

I split them down the outside it makes sewing so much easier. Even the big cats.

I think you need to get the WASCO book by John Belluchi, its got a lot of information you need!

Since you said these are your first lifesize, you better order the book now.
