Possible red fox problem

Submitted by Bev on 02/19/2003. ( brumbev@hotmail.com ) 205.243.120.132

I just recieved a red fox that I bought off of here. It was skinned and properly packed in insulated foam. I have learned since about fox slipping problems. It appears that it was in the mail for 4 days. Should I be worried about slipping? Are there any precautions I can take? Please help, if possible!
Thanks in advance,
Bev

Realizing fox usually have a musky (to put it nicely) smell, did it seems to smell rotted? Any green areas on the skin? If not, chances are it will be ok. But, I'd definitely contact the seller about it. Many times, they'll say to try it, and if it doesn't work, they'll send you another one, or refund your money, etc.
