I just wanted to say thanks to all of the contributors to this site. I just finished my first cat and it turned out great. (in my opinion) I couldn't have had this success without this resource. I may be jumping the gun since it has only been drying for 4 days but so far, so good. My previous experience includes three whitetail heads and a few tanned pelts. I was so scared of messing up the cat that I kept it in the freezer for 15 months. I can't even begin to list all of the tips aquired from this site that I used on the cat but the two that come to mind are from posts titled something like 'how far down to I skin the feet' and 'how do you fix large holes in hides'. This one was shot with a 30-06 so the exit hole was jagged and the size of my head. By the way my head gets bigger every time I look at the cat. The next one may humble me but for now I feel like the cat master. I'll ask some of you to critique it one of these days but for now it would be like asking you if you thought my kids were cute. I'm not gonna ask because I might cry if you gave me the wrong answer. Seriously though, thanks again for all of the help.
