Do they make sap remover?

Submitted by joseph truman on 03/04/2003. ( ) 205.144.226.6

Recently me and my friends took a coon. We skinned it and we laid it on a piece of plywood to dry. It had sap all over it when we removed it. Is there anything I can do to get it off without damaging the fur?

WD40 "should" get it off, if not, it should come off when/if you gegrease the coon.

If WD-40 don't work, Try denatured alcohol or acetone.

A couple of years back I used a product to remove tree sap from windows. I think it was called Goo-B-Gone. Might be worth a try.
Good old WD-40 works well for removing glue. Should work on sap too.

If you didn't flesh that coon .........

prior to laying it on the plywood to dry, you are going to need a gallon of goo be gone.

yep, as odd as it may sound. Work a little into the hair under the sap and let set awhile. The sap will eventually slide off...
It's the oil in the peanut butter...
