I am looking for a gray fox form, leaping with open mouth after a flying gamebird. I found a red fox form in the position I like. Can I use the red fox form with the gray fox without altering the form? I think the gray has a shorter snout, but the form comes with the jaw set and I don't think I can pull off that much alteration. Has anybody seen a gray fox form in this position, instead? I am only a hobbyist and am looking for the easiest solution.
Thanks,
Mike

Someone, somewhere sells just what you're looking for if you get more than one supplier's catalog.
Grey foxes will fit red fox mannikins, but they look like weird red foxes. Reds have canid faces while greys have a delicate, cat-like face. Push comes to shove, simply buy the grey mannikin of your choice and alter the form. Personally, I'd never put a grey on a red form.
Mike, These foxes are very different. The face is for sure longer on the red but a bigger problem is that the red is longer in leg proportionally. Like George said, do some more shopping and alter the closest thing you can find. Enjoy, Aaron H.
and I deal mostly with Van Dyke, WASCO, Research and Coombs, so grow your catalog collection, it's out there somewhere as Geo said
