Is the syrup dry? Or wet?
If it's dry, take it to a FURRIER who will clean it just like a fur coat. Realize that it may take a little extra work on their part and may cause slight hair loss, so be prepared to pay up to twice the normal cleaning and glazing fee.
If it's wet, first rub baking soda in to the spot. Let dry, brush out. Then do the furrier thing.
Dry cleaners should never clean fur! They are perfectly correct to refuse your rug.
H20 Dampen wipe until its right. If you get it too wet put sawdust on fur to absorb excess. Good luck.
this is going to sound crazy, but this outfitter i know had some dirty bear rugs, and he took them to an auto detailing place, they turned out AWESOME no hairloss no problems of any kind and they could not have looked any better. Now i did not do this, and i don't know if he just got lucky, so i stress, THIS IS WHAT HE DID! just an idea.
good luck.
p.s how'd you get that on your rug?
