I have a customers boar hide that has been salted and ready for the tannery. He now is not sure when he want's it done. Can I rinse the hide good and freeze it.

If it's salted don't worry about it. If it was fleshed completely and salted like it's suppost to it will be fine. Why don't you just send it to the tannery have tanned. That way when your customer wants to have it mounted it'll be ready.

Coyote; Thank you for the response. The tannery called and said I had some hides ready. Since they are only a couple miles away I took the boar there to get tanned.
