I bought a bunch of tanned hides from a person recently. Among them was a lifesize hoofed animal he'd thought was a white fallow. If it is, it has a really, really long neck! It is a uniform, off-white color. No markings. It has a long neck like an alpaca or llama, but the hair is wrong for either of those. (Pretty stiff and coarse.) There were a few African pieces in there. Could this be some type of African hide? If so, anyone have any idea what it could be? Oh, and I don't think it had horns/antlers, either.
Thanks much! =)
