Hello, I am wondering if I could get some information
on how to obtain a polar bear hide for use with a
non-profit educational group. I am the head of the
Michigan dark-ages re-enactment society. We put on
educational displays about "Vikings". We know that
they hunted and killed polar bears for many uses. We
are interested in accuireing a hide for use as a
visual aid. We will be doing our presentations at
local schools. We would like to promote education on
the "Vikings" and actually teach children something
correct as apposed to what movies and tv from
Hollywood portrays. If anyone knows where i could get one that is already here in the U.S. legaly I would really appreacate it. thank you. Scott weaver

Scott if you find one ask who they have dealt with before.If you check the archieves will will see alot of ripoff artists come on and nail one time buyers.A perfect example of how to ask is on the wanted section right now.This method will not sour the deal one bit as all the people who trade here agree that the crooks have to be stopped.Good luck.

i have a allready done rug with the the fet head mounted it is in awesome shape and is just shy of 10' long and is a really nice mount i have bein a fulltime taxidermist for 26 years and ive repaired my share of bad polar bear rugs and mount but this is a great mount i dont know who did the job but its really nice work if you are intrested i can send u pictures via email if you like let me know or anyone else for that matter ..
