I mounted a coyote about five or six years ago and recently it seems to have a very slight coyote smell to it. The hair is good and tight, it just has a slight coyote smell. Any advice or tips would be appreciated as always.

Tanned it should not smell like yote, when done properly the skin has been 100% penetrated with several chemicals at lest three times.
If it WAS DPed, thats your answer! Still has the body fluids that can be rewetted.
If you have had an unusually wet Spring as we have, high humidity could be causing the problem, too. It doesn't have mildew starting to grow on it, does it? Another possibility.
Try spraying some Febreeze on it. That ought to help with the odor. There are also other odor eliminators on the market.
