I have a coon that was trapped in a live trap. It did some damage to it's front feet trying to dig out. Skinned them up pretty bad, most of the hair on the top of the feet is missing. Any suggestions for repairs?
Thanks,BP

You could always mount the coon with his foot in a trap. I saw a competition coon that was mounted next to a trap with a bloody foot. The caption on the base read something like wounded but not destroyed. It looked really good.
Find a replacement coon the same size. ( They are easy to come by)Cut the foot off at the point where the long hairs meet the short. Sew with fine thread or super glue on new foot and your good to go. Need to watch the foot in trap for a comp piece. Some competitions do not allow man inflicted injuries. Check rules first. (If this is a comp piece you may want a different coon altogether)
a bloody foot coon next to a trap- yeah lets fuel the antis! woohoo!
