What is the best way to clean a skunk around the scent gland? How do you kill that terrible odor? Please someone help because my wife is just about ready to leave me!

By now you should have figured out you handled the critter way to ruff. I usually use a paper towel and gently plug the glands ducts. Then skin around them. Cleanup time calls for serious medical grade H202 scrubbing.
You can get it from McKenzie. I don't touch a squirell unless I have a bottle, stops the smell on contact.
