How many of you think that mounting a chipmunk is wrong? I have, or had 4 chipmunks that I wanted to practice mounting, and to practice molding mannikans. My parents wouldnt let me, becuase they think that chipmunks are reffered to as rodents, and that it is sick. How many of you feel this way. I'll admit, I do think its a little weird, but not enough to stop me from doing it.

Why is it sick? You know....there are SICKER things in this world. Animals are animals...no matter what you choose to mount. I would rather see my child dissect creatures rather than do drugs...
There is not a single thing wrong with it. Chipmunks are actually beautiful little animals, why wouldn't you want to preserve one. There are lots of animals in the rodent family that make beautiful mounts so what does the fact that it is a rodent have to do with it. I think your parents would be grossed out by anything you wanted to mount I have many mounts of all kinds of animals, and one of my favorites and one that gets a lot of compliments from people who see my mounts is a mount of as beautiful little chipmunk sitting upright on a small stump holding an acorn in its paw. Preserving the beauty of nature is a wonderful thing, and dempnstrates an awe and appreciation for God's creations. What could be wrong with that.

Well, imagine my surprise when I came along and found this on the web. Here i am in florida looking for a place to find a chipmunk mount for my son's bedroom. I am also looking for a squirrel. if anyone knows where i can get one, please email me.
