My buddy and I have been mounting many mammals lately and are trying hard to get our hands on skunk, think it will look pretty cool. But I've read alot in the archives on different solutions to mix for the scent to go away. What is the best and safest as not to make hair fall out and/or turn white hair yellow?

It won't yellow the hair and it's proven to work. Used it dozens of times. Works on all musk animals.
This product seems to work very well. I skin the skunks out first and then sray the skin and my hands after I am done. I also flesh the fat off and this takes most of the smell away as well. When you skin them out, you have to be carfull of the sent glands. If you cut into them, you will most likely not finish the skinning as it will be so bad you will not be able to hold down anything you have eaten for the last few days. I have used Peroxide to remove the odor before and it works as well. I go right on to salting dry the skin from the fleshing point and right on to tanning. i have several skunks that are ready to mount right now if you are interested.
