"Match the hatch"

Bears vary just like any other wild creature and seldom do they have uniform colors inside the mouth. Get you a reference you like and mix and match to meet that picture.

Generalization

While I agree with George, you will have to formulate a generalized paint schedule for yourself, I find that bear mouths are fairly uniform in color. I have been at about 6 fresh bear kills(within 10 minutes) and I have found the mouths to be much paler than most people think they are. I use dusty pink with a drop of sailfish blue(to give it just a touch of lavender) and then some cocoa brown. Your best bet will be to buy a detailed Buckeye jaw cup from McKenzie and use that for your reference. While I may not totally agree with it completely, it makes the best looking bear mouth out there.

We use "jaw brown" from Research Mannikins. I think the brand name is Timberline or something like that. Very happy with the results.
