Have a client that came in with a young fox and a mother that were road kill. They want the pair mounted in a natrual pose. With the young one with the ears down and not standing up. How do you go about mounting the ears without a liner so the are in a drooped postion and not get a ton a shringage so they look bad
Thanks Bill

Bill,

I just mounted a young coyote and his ears were not up yet. I used All Game and worked a small amount into each ear. Make sure you smash the edge of the ear down and work the all game towards the middle of the ear. I sprayed a little water inside the ear before I stuck the all game inside so it would move around easier. It takes about 45 minutes to set up. This gives you more time to work with it and get it right. Before you skin the ears out look at where the ear flops over and make a drawing of it for reference.

Good luck! -Jeanette
