Cleaning Mountain Goat Fur

What is the best way to clean a lifesize mountain goat mount? This lifesize mount has been in a restaurant for the past 15 years and has the grease to show it. Can I use a detergent like Dawn to clean the mount? How much water can be applied to the mount before I run into problems? It looks like most of the grease was trapped at the end of the hairs and the pile next to the skin is still white. Any help would be appreciated.

Generally when I have to clean on old mount that's pretty messed up I like to use woolite. It's safe on to use and cleans them up well. You can wash it but I like the other stuff first.

You'd better use a good Conditioner after you wash it. Otherwise, the soft under wool won't look as good and won't fluff up realistically.
