After you skin a bear what would you clean it with?

Kelly, I would not clean the bear skin at all unless very bloody. I would salt, flesh, salt again, dry and send to the tanner. If it is very bloody I would wash with denatured alcohol (wear rubber gloves). Using water increases drying time and soap causes problems with tanning process. Enjoy, Aaron H.
