What really kills me about people like you is you stand there and spit your venom about the people who donate more money and have more to do with animal conservation thsan any others in the world. You sit there on your leather couch with leather shoes, and leather coats and wonder why you are laughed at! You are all a bunch of hipocrits. Is thera a leather tree farm out there where leather is harvested to make you clothes and briefcases? You probably think so! Ducks Unlimited have restored more wetlands, helped restored more of the praire potholes, to bring back our waterfowl populations than PETA, or the Humane Society has ever done. Pheasant Forever, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Wild Turkey Federation, National Trappers Assoc, North American Hunting club, North American Fishing Club, National Rifle Assoc., National Taxidermist Assoc., ECT, ECT. And I can keep going if you want. Have done more for our children, and the wildlife than anything that you creeps have ever done.

I begin with a knife, add a little salt, some sewing thread, a little paint there ya go....
It really is simple, look in your own mouth you hypocrite. Take a look at your upper teeth. See the front four middle teeth? Well look at those two little pointed ones on each side. You will also notice the two directly below it on your bottom jaw. Know what those teeth are called? Canines. They are present in all MEAT eaters and they are used to tear meat not eat fruit or veggies. Now, look at those two things that sit exactly above your mouth. Those are called eyes. If you will notice, they are facing forward. Now brace yourself, here is a little anatomy lesson for you. Prey species (the ones we chase and eat) have their eyes on the SIDE of the head to enhance their ability to escape while us predators (and yes even you are a predator even if you are too ignorant to realize it) have their eyes facing forward to enhance our depth perception for the chase.
Now that is your $500.00 anatomy lesson. You know, folks like you make me question whether some of us did in fact evolve from apes.
Next week we can what makes a man and man and a woman and woman; ever hear of the XY chromosone?

Shoes,belts,watch bands, pocket books and purses are mostly made from the skin of animals! What about silk? Got any? Those poor worms...How about wool? Those poor sheep are scared to death as they are raped of there "fur" for your clothing! Do you cut your grass? Eat vegetables? Aren't they "alive" also? We are master artists at preserving what God has given us.

They have psychological problems. Stemming from their childhood. They all were such displaced misfits that were ridiculed, and treated poorly in their eyes. they have grown up feeling that they are underdogs who can never fit into normal society they feel their persecution and inability to deal with those who they believe superior to themselves, makes them helpless against the powers of normal people. Thus they Equate their helplessness with what they feel the helplessness of animals against the supreme intellect of Man. They identify with the lack of reasoning all animals except man have. They see the animals as poor little victims just as they see themselves. They are not capable of dealing with their own shortcomings. So they use the only strong point they have their big mouth. they stand behind the constitution like a shield to protect themselves while all the wile violating the constitutional rights of others. All in the hopes of making themselves feel important. Wishing to strike a blow for all the persecuted, creatures of the earth. Hoping that one day they will be able to wrought revenge on those that make them feel like the worms they are. WE as humane individuals should start a program to get these poor people some help. By making them feel that they are a part of the human race they will stop identifying with animals, and become the supreme predator as God Intended man to be.

I'm actually an animal 'nut!' I've always had pets, taken in strays, etc., etc. (Yes, live ones!) Watching a movie, human gets killed, no biggie. But let me portray a dog getting it....uh, oh, here come the water works! (Remember Ole Yeller? sniff! sniff!) But, I'm also realistic enough to realize what all above has said is true! We don't harrass 'tree huggers,' so why do they feel the need to harrass us? To each his/her own. Personally, I liken myself more to the wolf than the cow. Make mine rare and pass the salt, please.

Th Bonsai Kitten website was a joke thought up by some intellectual (college kids) who were poking fun at a variety of things from animal activism to our standards of beauty.
What they did is take kittens and putt hem into jars. Then they made up fake descriptions of how they had these kittens in jars for 6 weeks, a year, etc. and how they were fed through tubes, etc. The kittens were obviously not actually IN the jars (they'd been photoshopped in).
The pictures were HILARIOUS. It was such a joke it was over the top.
I think the FBI actually took it seriously for a second and shut down the site though, because apparently someone convinced someone that it might be real.
Activism with too much zeal on any front stands to stifle the opinions of others. All things in moderation.
Conservationists have done more for animals than any "activist" has.
What a name, Kyria, I think I'll call a new disease that. It vaguely reminds me of Listeria or Diarrhea. hehe. So, Diarrhea, go make a financial and time contribution to your ktities and fishies. Like we do. We actually help animals. We practice what we preach. Put your mouth where your beaver is.

I usually don't stoop so low to meet such people at their level. I have just one thing to say...people like this don't seem to realize two things....
#1 Like stated earlier, we taxidermists are trying to "bring these animals, in a sense, back to life...we don't harm them.
#2 These people do not seem to understand what hunting seasons are for. The hunting season is intended to thin out overpopulation of animals, for instance, deer. If the population of deer wasn't thinned out each year, the over population would cause horrible starvation to many deer. Only so many deer can survive in a square mile...any more, and they starve. At least hunting CAN, and usually IS a humane way of saving them from the horror of starvation. (Have you ever SEEN an animal that has died from starvation? It's sad)
I love animals....I love taxidermy...I don't hunt, but I love preserving all of God's creatures. And I believe God loves me for admiring what he made. And you know WHAT? Even in the bible, didn't they eat? I believe so....
Sorry for ranting....Guess I lied when I said I wouldn't lower myself to their level. People like this are lower than whale crap...and that is pretty L

Fried, Grilled, Broiled, Boiled, Baked, Roasted, Smoked, Jerky'd, Broasted, Toasted. Just about anyway you can fix it. If man was not meant to eat meat, why are animals made of them?
Dont over cook my steak, boot leather has its place and thats not on my dinner plate. Use hickory or oak when slow cooking the meat.
I really think the way to look at this is you are really getting back to nature. Cows eat hay and grain, hogs do too, so infact are we not eating grain and fiber in a way?
Funny how the anti's are so ill informed. its anti's from many walks. Some people want to stop slaughter of horses, thats around 60,000 horse per year, I simply ask where at they going to put them, who will feed them, who will pay the vet bills, and who will care for them?

Look..... I know you mean well, but this is not going to change. From the beginning we have eaten meat, and anything that mother earth can provide. It's not changing. I believe in using everything and not wasting what an animal provides. It's sacred to me. Mother earth provides what we need from food to clothing to materials to build houses and the like. Please, I respect your right to your views. I hope and wish you would not only respect mine, but that you stop and think before casting such harsh uneducated, and emotional (not rational) judgement. I doubt we'll rot in hell for providing food and shelter for our families.
I prefer to be involved in all aspects of gathering of my nutrition. The hunt, the stalk, the kill, the field dressing, the skinning, the butchering, the hide preservation, and the eating of the most succulent flesh this earth can provide. And when appropriate, I will mount a game animal back to its once majestic life like appearance that can be viewed and used as both a display of pride or used as an educational tool in museums and science classrooms. Others prefer to simply purchase their bounty from the grocery store. I believe my way puts me closer to this mother earth than growing up believing that my food comes from the store.
I know you mean well, but I can still remember as a child bottle feeding our steer calves, giving them grain and hay. Watching them grow. Petting them, naming them. Understanding all of the while the reason we were raising them. The reason was that a year and a half later we would butcher them for our familieas winter supply of beef. Was it hard. Yes. But as time went on, we realized the reality of it all is necessary.
Some people have a very hard time understanding that we can love the animals we hunt. we don't shoot each one we see, but rather only one and sometimes we don't find that one special animal. But I enjoy watching, seeing, finding game. I belong to several conservation organizations that are working hard to keep the habitat these animals need for their survival. Sportsman are the most responsible for this. This is not going to change. I hope that you won't give up all of your naive qualities, because they are cute to a point. But please don't be so quick to throw stones.
