I am relativly new to taxidermy specializing in waterfowl. I have recently been approached by a customer asking if their are any legal implications in him receiving a shoulder mount of an elephant? He has not seen the mount yet but the current owner has the item in storage and is willing to give it away if my customer wants it. His intent would be to sell the piece if it is in good condition. I am not sure of issues surrounding real verses reproduction tusks, etc., any constructive feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
