form measurements

I"m trying to order a raccoon form. But my measurements don"t quite match any forms. My measurements are: A: 2 ¼ (nose to eye) B: 28î (nose to tail base) C: 16 ¼ (mid-section). So, is it better to order a form bigger or smaller, and do any of my measurements seem too big or small. Oh yeah, I measured after I skinned it.

It's always better to measure your skin and order the mannikin just before you are ready to mount it. This means AFTER it has been tanned and rehyrated. If you can't find a mannikin that is the right size, ALWAYS order one a little bigger. It's a lot easier to alter foam mannikins to make them smaller, than it is to make them bigger.

I have found that ordering a form that is shorter worksout

seems that I have better luck by ordering a form that is a little shorter in length. I have had far less troubles. this allows you to taxi the skin for taxi-dermy.
