Hello,

I am going to be attending a Taxidermy school soon and as most of you know you have to provide or buy the specimens. I am going Coyote hunting this weekend and was wondering what is the best way to keep a coyote for a legnth of time untill I get to school? Thanks in advance Adam

Freeze it

All you need to do is put some cotton in the nose to keep fluids in and not over the dog, any major holes I would again place some type of cotton or paper towel to keep as much fluids off the dog. This will help keep the bacteria growth down to a minimum. Then being school isn't that far off, just wrap it in a plastic bag and make it as air tight as you can. The rest will happen in school.
Ps good luck.

Thanks

That is what happens when you skim through only the written part...
