just got through mounting a coyote and it kinda smells like a wet dog! is there anything that you can buy from a local store to help kill the stench! i've searched through thee archives and only found a couple post of just spraying fabreeze. any ideas sure would help!

Has It been In a deep freeze for a few years maybe not frozen has good has it should of been?
Was the coyote tanned or dry preserved?
the coyote was dry preserved! i've used about 3/4 a bottle of fabreeze on the coyote and that hasn't helped. i'm thinking about using this mount to start a fire at my deer lease in south texas this weekend! if anyone knows what to do for the serious problem....respond!

Did you degrease it before you mounted it?
before you mounted it. For goodness sake don't try and wash it now, with the DP you will have junk (always another reason for truly tanning a skin). Coyotes always have that "coyote smell" unless you wash the skin before mounting. I hope you at least have stock in the Freebreeze company.
