Recently , while splitting a bunch of small mammal lips for salting , I ran across some that were drying partially out and were causing my knife to stick and not allowing me to do what i wanted . I have seen guys that use borax and salt on thier fingers to get a better grip with thier fingers but I have issues with both of those methods. What I stumbled onto while pondering this situation and seeing my cup of stop rot .... I just dipped my knife into it and away I went , extremely easy and felt good about the extra insurance of the stoprot on this area . You dont need alot of it, just dip your knife into it . Now , I know you all have stop rot in your shop -right ! try it , you'll love it . B.Bishop
