Badger measurements?

I'm buying a badger skin with the skull and legs still in the skin. Can I figure out the nose to tail and the belly circumfrence by laying the skin out flat an measuring with a tape.

Also if this skin if frozen green will any measurements be off by much because of dehydration or anything?

This is my fist small mammal I usually do WT deer. Any tips will be greatly appericated.

Lay the hide out the best you can and measure the girth

and the length then compare what the catalogs say for each form. I would go with a larger girth and a bit shorter length.

The nose to eye is not an important measurment as they will be close.
