I have skinned several squirrels (2 grays and a red) and I find the actual skinning process easy enough, however, when it comes time to flesh them, it seems as though I am somehow leaving a very thin layer of flesh stuck to the inside of the skin, even though I am very careful and the animal's body comes out of the skin very cleanly and rather easily. I am basically wondering if I am doing something wrong to cause this, and, if borax is being used as a preservative, how important is it to remove this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

get the "Ultimate Scissors" from WASCO www.taxidermy.com
the fastest and safest way to do your squirrel fleshing, or if your skilled with the mini fleshall it works great to, but you still need those scissors for pretty much everything anyways.
