iffen you leave the fat on....just drape over that thar form and sews it backs together. This-en must stay indoors at rooms tempature 70 or above for atleast a month NO matters how much it starts to stank. Some of your finer mounts are usually done this way. Heck, you can see most of that thar work right there on that thar site they calls FEEBAY. Good luck and Happy huntin' be careful's now, you might shoots your eye out.
It is apparent that you are just starting out. No Question is a dumb one although some may act as if it were. I guess they forget that we were not all born know it all's. Before mounting any animal it is necessary to remove the fat. As it inhibits the penetration of the tanning chemicals. Take your time and scrape all the fat from the hide. On greasy animals such as raccoon and beaver. wash in a good degreaser. It is better to learn to put forth the work, and do it right then to take shortcuts and find how easy it is to have problems.
I useally post with a . but that was not me!
yeah that was very rude but i agree with tenbears you need to remove all flesh. this doesn't have to be done by skinning but after you are done gutting and have the skin then you can just scrape all the fat off. this what i usually do and it works fine!
