How to market a moose head?

Hi! I sell items for other people on eBay, and a client of mine has an older moose head that she is interested in selling, as she is relocating to an apartment that is ill-suited to a large mount. I have looked at other listings, read through this site and others, and acquainted myself with the elements that buyers consider when looking for a moose. I understand that newer is better. However, I can't find any site that discusses what a fair price is for older mounts. For a 20-year-old mount that is still in great shape, clean fur, beautiful craftsmanship, non-smoking home, what is considered a fair price? I see fresh moose mounts selling at between $1,800-2k. Any tips or links to where I might find this info would be greatly appreciated.

What you get for it depends on the individual looking for one at any parcticular time. Also, being that a crated moose mount will probably have to go by freight truck, you also have to figure on the buyer paying up to 400.00 to get it shipped to them. This all figures into the asking price. People are not going to get the big monaey for a mount if the customer also has to pay expensive shipping charges that sometimes are almost as mnuch as the cost of the mount itself.
