I am a state licensed taxidermist in Indiana and have a friend whose father trapped a cross fox in the Upper penisula of Michigan. He would like to me to mount it for him, but I am hesitant because I do not know if this is legal to have. Does anyone know? I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks folks!

Like a silver fox, the cross fox is just a color phase of the red.
A trapping licence, and provides you with his name, address, and licence Number so you will have it for your records, Then Go for it. He took it leagally, so you should not have a problem.
