I picked up an Angora Goat rug at an estate sale. The furr seems to have pet stains on it judging by the smell. Other than the stains the rug is in very good condition. What would be the best way to clean it? I don't know anything about cleaning fur and I dont want to ruin it.

You can try this on it but do a spot test. One thing to remember there is never a guarantee on type of cleaning for we have no way of knowing what was done as to the way the rug was handled before you recived it.
Should I use some kind of conditioner?
