He'll be getting a pelt with feet, tail split to the end, tanned w/Lutan F, no slips or rips. He wants to know how to store the pelt, how to mount, what supplies to buy.

My recommendations:

Go to the WASCO site (click) and buy Black Bubble eyes, size 5 or 6 mm if I recall

Make sure to use Lee Press-On Nails to card the ears (paper clip 2 press-on nails together, one on each side of the ear)

You may want to thin the face and nose area a little with a scalpel.

Inject the feet with Bird Feet Injection if you want, but it's optional. They will hold the position you put them in if you tend to them for a couple days.

Mount on driftwood.

Buy a very small chipmunk form so you don't have to fight the skin

Get Hidemaster hide paste

Get a set of "needle files" to help mould the eyelids while you are mounting

Make sure to buy some Sallie Dahmes Mache in case the form is just too big, so you can mould your own body

Do not try to set the eyes in clay, use the mache or use Apoxie-Sculpt

Oh, last, get a good small (size 5 or 6) glover's needle to sew the cased incision up. Super glue works well too.

Good luck!

I think I'll print this for mine..
