Hello, I was wondering what I should do if I run out of stretchers for a pelt. Should I freeze it, salt it? Thanks in advance

What are you using the stretchers for? You don't need to put the hides on stretchers, unless your going to sell the hides to a fur buyer. Then it's a big no-no to salt them. Since fur buyers want aired dryed skins. If this is the case, freeze them until you have more stretchers.

Thanks a lot coyote, I sell my hides. Im not mounting anything but I seriously would like to get into taxidermy some day. I came here and needed some help and I can always trust a taxidermist. Thanks again
