Beaver skin comfortor

I have a customer wanting me to make a beaver skin comforter. I assume I will need them tanned and very flexible. Does anyone know who I might contact, or what I need to do.

Contact a nearby tannery and talk with them. then get to skinning and fleshing and salting. Thats going to be a very expensive blanket.
You could tan them yourself but you got alot of work ahead of you.
Good luck

Theres a guy, (Fox Furs or Fox USA), I think, that will do it for you, all you need to do is send them the fleshed hides. They will tan trim and sew your hides as well as afix a backing. I use them to make "Mountain Man" hats out of coyotes, foxes, bobcats, etc.

Like Hugh said, USA FOXX is a good place to start. Fur blankets are $$$$
