A quick note to see if there are any interested parties looking for a polar bear rug. It is 7'6", that will be fininshed in about three weeks. It was legally harvested from Nanuvat,Jan. 2003 by an Inuit hunter just south of Igloolik. Thats in the Artic for those of you that don't know the area. I know this because I was up there working last year and brought the hide down with me my last trip.It is in perfect condition, the hair is thick and tight due to the time of year is was shot. I have all legal tags and also have the skull which has been bleached, painted and mounted separately. ps they don't use the real skull when they tan and rug it, they take a mold. It has black underlay and the mouth is partially open. Now comes the tricky part, I used to live in Canada but know live in Texas. The taxidermist is located in British Columbia and she will let me know when it's done. I was thinking about putting it on E-Bay but will see what kind of response I get from this memo.
Regards

If the bear is in Canada, And you do not already have an import permit, you may not get one. As only the hunter that killed the bear in an approved area, can get the sportsman's permit. Just for openers. the permit cost $1000.00
