I am getting ready to skin a Yote for a FullBody mount, It will be posed sitting with head up howling, I plan to make my full incision down the back to skin it out, I need to know how and what the best way to skin out the paws.
Do I need to skin the paws all the way out or do I cut at the ankle joint?

I cut on the outside of the leg and pull hte ankle out turning the paw as I go. Cut on the outside on the leg, its far easier to sew, I also use Fireline to sew the legs with.
you need to skin them all the way to the last diget in each and every toe! best to make a relief cut from just above the back side of the knee joint to just above the foot pad. this way you can invert and get that foot pretty inside out to flesh, make sure you get the gland in the foot pad out, its a smelly booger, looks like a fat deposite, best if you can get your scaulpal underneath it without cutting it up in one piece, if you leave it in, your yote will smell like a wet dog forever, not to mention some of the other nasty things that might occur best of luck
