cleaning an otter

I just skinned out my first otter last night. I was wondering what I should do about degreasing an otter, should I salt, wash, flesh and then degrease or what is the best sequence? And what is a good degreaser?
Also I checked the archives.

Flesh it well

Bojack, I just completed an otter and here is how I approached it:

I would flesh it well, salt it, reflesh it and the slat dry it. I degrease after rehydrating and before pickling for 3 days. I then shaved it, degreased it again, then return to the pickle for 3 more days. The best degreaser I have found so far is Rittles super solvent.
