Boy...do I ever feel like an idiot! A friend asked me to sell a bear skin for her on ebay! I know nothing about the rules and regulations about selling certain skins....that is not until I got a notice from ebay telling me I breaking the law! I also know nothing about the worth of the thing. It is a redish/brown skin. Approx 6' X 5'. The hide is soft and pliable....the head is there...but not stuffed. No claws. She claims to have paid $900 for it from an antique shop in 1994.(but that seemed very high to me) I was gong to start the bidding at $450 (to high?) on ebay....but now I don't have a clue where I can legally list it. Any suggestions on where I can list it and on the worth?

....But the skin is probably worth NO MORE that $100, if that. No claws and that old a skin is most likely not mountable anymore. Try Yahoo auctions. But first be sure that it is legal to sell it in YOUR state.
