First beaver

Just got done mounting my first beaver and was wondering if anyone has had trouble with the under fur knotting up. The mount turned out looking really good but when you run your hand over it there are small bumps where the really fine under fur is knotted up. Can comb them out but I am afraid if I comb to much out the fur will look to thin. Any suggestions.

Comb it

After you've combed it out, back brush it to put the loft back in the hair. Then I take my air brush (without paint, obviously) and gently blow the guard hairs back down to give it a slick appearance.

usually you have to wash it good after the near miss. or you can just shave it to eleviate that problem
