i am going to do my first arctic fox and was wondering if it was ok to tan it myself or would i be better off with a commercial tannery? i guess i am most concerned about it being all white and staining the hair.

The arctic is no more difficult to do than any other. Some cares must be taken throughout the process. But as the artist, you will be more diligent than most tanneries. I have seen many commercially tanned arctic fox come back with pink bellies.
