I have a customer that has brought me a black bear, fall hunt. It is 68 inches from nose to tail. It is being tanned at this time. He wants to sell it. This bears head was huge. My question is what is it worth paying for after it is tanned? Thanks.

On what kind, and who is tanning it. The quality of the fur, how many cuts, and holes it has. If it is mountable , or rugable. and if it is a phase bear or black in color. I get raw bear from hunters $100.00 each, regardles of size. Figure what you have invested in tanning and time and take it from there
